These median incomes were estimated in a two step process. Income related blockgroup data from the 2018 - 2022 American Community Survey was recompiled by the Cambridge Community Development Department to align with approximate neighborhood boundaries. Median values were then interpolated for each geographic area from the compiled distribution of incomes. All amounts reported in 2022 dollars.

Non-emergency service requests submitted through Cambridge's Commonwealth Connect application powered by SeeClickFix Open311.

Please note that the City of Cambridge uses Commonwealth Connect to track both public and internal work orders. Occasionally, a ticket will change from internal to public, or vice-versa. All tickets that originated as public requests are included in this dataset. However, technical constraints prevent us from displaying information for tickets that originated as internal work orders.

Prior to using Commonwealth Connect, the City utilized iReport. Three open datasets derive from historical iReport data:

This data set compares 1990, 2000, 2006 - 2010, and 2012 - 2016 Journey to Work data, outlining the modes of commuting for the Workforce in the City of Cambridge, regardless of home location. The data set originates from three sources: 1990 Journey to Work data supplied to the Massachusetts Central Transportation Planning Staff by the Census Bureau, a special tabulation of 2000 Decennial Census data - the 2000 Census Transportation Planning Products (CTPP), and the most recent versions of the CTPP compiled from the American Community Survey. The Cambridge Workforce consists of all persons who work in Cambridge, regardless of place of residence.

This layer contains point features of miscellaneous municipal buildings. This category is broader than just 'City Offices' as it includes sites such as the VFW hall, Senior Center, and DPW garages. Created for general use by City staff. Used for both mapping and specific identification of buildings with a similar use.
