This polygon layer contains the City of Cambridge daily street cleaning districts. Created to delineate the daily street sweeping districts in Cambridge. The district attribute in the layer corresponds to the street cleaning schedule posted on the Cambridge DPW website.

This polygon layer contains the two elective districts for congressmen in Cambridge in the United State Congress. This layer was created for general use by the Cambridge Election Commission and for public distribution. There are two congressional districts in Cambridge, one of which is in the middle of another one.

This layer contains point features of all Commercial parking lots in the City of Cambridge. These include private and municipal lots and garages and their addresses. Created for general use by City staff. Used for both mapping and specific identification of parking lot locations.

The Development Log provides an record of large-scale development projects occurring in the City of Cambridge. The Log, updated on a quarterly basis, is distributed to City departments and the public to keep them posted about development progress, from permitting through construction to completion. This table includes data about each specific use found within each project. A separate Development Log table includes general project information, such as development status and statistics related to the entire project.

This polygon layer contains buildings, sites, structures, objects, and districts that have been placed on the National Register of Historic Places in recognition of their importance to American history, culture, or archaeology. National Register designation means that changes to these places must be reviewed if federal or state funds, permits, or licenses are used.
This layer was created for general use by the Cambridge Historical Commission (CHC) and for public distribution. Created for reference purposes as a digital companion to the hard copy National Register atlas kept on file by the CHC.

This point layer is are all of the Cobrahead street lights which will be replaced throughout the summer of 2014. There are other types of lights in the City which are not included in this GIS layer. Decorative street lights which will be replaced in 2015, and lights owned by others (DCR, Universities, & private) have not been verified for accuracy yet and will be included in a future update of this layer.

This table represents all residential building permits. For each construction project the current use, new use, number of permitted units, number of units lost or gained, and location is noted.

The date reflects the year during which a building permit was first issued for a development project. This is not an indication of the date of completion. Units and property count includes only new buildings, not major rehabilitation. Data is subject to revision.

Data sources include the Cambridge Assessing Department, the Cambridge Community Development Log, and the Cambridge Inspection Services Department.

Blank cells indicate a lack of data.
