This table represents all residential building permits. For each construction project the current use, new use, number of permitted units, number of units lost or gained, and location is noted.
The date reflects the year during which a building permit was first issued for a development project. This is not an indication of the date of completion. Units and property count includes only new buildings, not major rehabilitation. Data is subject to revision.
Data sources include the Cambridge Assessing Department, the Cambridge Community Development Log, and the Cambridge Inspection Services Department.
Blank cells indicate a lack of data.

This table includes residential building permits issued from 1996 through 2022. Each listing includes the permitted address, map-lot parcel identification number, Cambridge neighborhood, prior use, permitted use, number of permitted units, and number of units lost or gained,
The date reflects the year during which a building permit was first issued for a development project. This is not an indication of the date of completion. This list only includes projects that removed an existing building, constructed a new building or combined or split units within an existing structure. Major rehabilitation projects that did not change a structures unit count are not included here. All data is subject to revision.
Data sources include the Cambridge Assessing Department, the Cambridge Development Log, and the Cambridge Inspection Services Department.
